Are the watches waterproof?

All our watches are rated to 5ATM. Making it well and truly splash proof & there for you during those unexpected walks (or runs) in the rain. Shallow swimming is also okay, although diving should be avoided. To ensure the longevity and quality of your leather straps, we suggest minimising excessive and prolonged exposure to water. Please note that water damage is NOT covered in the warranty.

What is the warranty period and how do I claim it?

Patience is a virtue, but sometimes you need to throw it out the window. This is why we ship all Australian orders via Express Australia Post.
International orders should arrive between 6-10 days, postage time is location dependent. We try our utmost to issue same day dispatch and with the delivery time down to 1 business day (on all orders before 3pm), Australia only. With this being said, you can expect to be wearing your new adventure companion within 1-3 days. Isn’t that exciting!

What is the warranty period and how do I claim it?


All our timepieces come with a 24 month warranty. We believe in the products we create however, if there is a manufacturing fault we do apologise and will do everything in our power to resolve the issue. In this case, we urge you to contact us via email at warranty@minimalhour.com. Please provide us with your order number and photos of the issue.

To process a warranty claim you will need to provide proof of purchase, even for a timepiece given as a gift.

Upon receiving your claim, if the product is indeed a manufacturing fault we will immediately send out a replacement watch, free of charge via Express Shipping. Please note, the estimated timeframe for warranty claims takes up to 7 working days.

What does the warranty cover?


The warranty covers all issues which come under manufacturing faults. Put simply, if there is an issue due to the timepiece being put together incorrectly or faulty materials, we will happly replace it for you.

What is not covered:

  • Issues brought on from misuse are not covered. These include, but are not limited to, improper handling & damage incurred from accidents such as scratching, dropping, blunt force and general wear and tear.
  • Damage due to exposure from water or excessive moisture. Our watches are rated to 5ATM, which allows protection from splashes/moisture, showers, rain and shallow swimming . Activities such as surfing, diving and deep swimming are not recommended. To ensure the integrity and longevity of the leather we recommend keeping exposure to water at a minimum.
  • Any repairs done by a third party will void all warranty claims

How do I exchange my timepiece?

We understand sometime decisions can be tough which is why we provide a 30 day exchange period (from receiving item/s). If you would like to swap your timepiece over, please email us at returns@minimalhour.com with your order number, reason for exchange and the alternative item/s you would like to exchange for. Once we receive the item/s your new timepieces will be sent out free of charge. Please note, we do not reimburse any shipping costs.

What if i change my mind?

We are happy to provide a full refund within a 30 day period if you are unhappy with your purchase. Please email us at returns@minimalhour.com with your order number, full name, address, and the reason for the refund. We do not provide refund for sale items, only exchanges. For a refund to be processed we require the item/s to be in new unworn, original condition.

Please note, postage costs will not be reimbursed unless the item is faulty.

Oh no! I've put in the wrong address. What do I do?


Don’t stress it’s an easy fix. Just send us an email at contact@minimalhour.com with the subject labelled “Order Address Change”. Let us know your order number, the correct address and we will do our very best to fix this for you. With this in mind, if we have already sent out the item, we can’t change the address for you. To avoid this situation from happening, we encourage you to ensure that your postage details are updated and correct.
